About the treatment
Cups create suction at the skin surface and are used on areas agreed together. The technique is not suitable for everyone and may leave temporary marks. Discuss gentler options or alternative massage techniques if avoiding marks is important to you.
- Focused work on tight areas
- A local feeling of release
- Complements other manual techniques
Who it suits
For clients suited to the technique after a short consultation. Temporary marks may occur.
Your session
Start with a short conversation about your goals, preferences and treatment suitability. Please do not share medical information in the website form.
Pressure and pace are adjusted to your comfort throughout the session. You can ask to change pressure, skip an area or stop at any time.
Duration is agreed in advance. If you have a medical condition, injury or are pregnant, discuss suitability and consult your physician when needed.
Before your visit
How do I choose a treatment?
You do not need to decide in advance. At the start, Mali will ask how you feel, what you want from the session and what pressure you prefer, then recommend a suitable treatment or combination.
Is the treatment painful?
Treatment should not be something you have to endure. Deeper work may involve pressure, but it is always adjusted to you and you can ask for a change at any time.
Does cupping leave marks?
Cupping can leave temporary round marks that may last several days. Mali will explain this beforehand and use the technique only with your agreement and when appropriate. A gentler mark-free treatment option is also available, depending on your needs and preference.
